Excellent interview! I read Child of God on Joel’s recommendation and have to say it was tough to read but many of McCarthy’s books are. This interview was so enlightening in so many ways for me to look at the book differently. No one but you knows the background story of how we got to this place. There for the Grace of God, go I. Both of you were stellar!
